  • EffectLighting.com accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover credit cards. Other accepted forms of payment include: money orders, cashiers checks and PayPal.

Effectlighting.com is an authorized dealer for all of the brands we sell. Please check with all manufacturers for warranty information as some restrictions may apply. All information including brand names, logos, pictures, or other information are the property of their respective manufacturers or copyright holders.

Your online order is not automatically charged when you submit it.  A representative will review your order before finalizing it.  If there are issues with your order you will be contacted first by email and then by phone so that we can resolve the issues. Some choose to pay with PayPal which is fine. If there is any issue you will be contacted and given a refunded if necessary.

  • All sales are final. We will exchange a defective or damaged item. No refunds. All items must be inspected immediately upon there reception. If an item arrives damaged or defective we must be notified within 7 days upon arrival. If item arrived damaged customer should contact us and save all packaging as it came. The shipper will be contacted and might want to pickup item for inspection. A replacement will be shipped when item is returned. If an item arrives defective we need to be contacted right away. Customer is to ship item back to us and a replacement will be sent at no charge. We can send out advanced replacement item but will have to charge customer for the item and refund will be issued when defective item is returned and inspected. If we find item to be fully functional and is user error we will then charge a 25% restock fee and shipping of the replacement. Our merchandise is new unless specified and is covered by the manufacturer's warranty. Effectlighting.com is not responsible for any defect or warranty work. To exchange a damaged or defective item simply email us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it and ask for a Return Authorization Number (RA#). Please indicate your invoice number and the item to be returned to the customer service agent. Customer is responsible for all return shipping charges including insurance. Any item(s) sent back without an RA number will be returned to sender. Any returned merchandise is subject to a 25% re-stocking fee. No refunds on any shipping charges. Sometimes shipping charges are higher then what you might see and pay, the original shipping cost we pay will be subtracted first then the 25% fee will apply. Items being sent back for replacement must be in "brand new" condition (in original packaging, with all manuals and unfilled warranty cards). Merchandise that is received damaged, marked, or with missing packaging, will not be accepted. Most orders take 3 to 7 business days in transit depending on location. If an item is out of stock, you will be contacted via email or telephone. You will have an opportunity to cancel the order or make changes. Special order items may take up to 14 days.
  • Not every product on our site is available for shipment 100% of the time.  Some items are stocked at our location while others are stocked in the warehouses of our suppliers.  For this reason it is possible that the items you order may not be available for immediate shipment.  If an order you place has an item or items that is/are not in stock at time of order Effectlighting.com will contact you and notify you of the expected in stock date before shipping any part of your order.  At this time you may choose to cancel the order or place the out of stock item(s) on back-order for shipment at a later date. In stock items will ship immediately.  If you decide to proceed with your order we will charge it in its entirety unless you specifically request otherwise.   We reserve the right to refuse or cancel your order at any time for any reason.

Unless specifically stated otherwise we sell only new factory sealed products.  These products carry a warranty from the manufacturer. At this time Effectlighting.com does not offer any warranties of any type.   For warranty information on a specific product please contact us.  If you have a product that needs warranty service please contact the manufacturer directly or feel free to contact us and we’ll provide you with the information you need.  From time to time we may have special opportunities to sell factory refurbished and b-stock items.  These items will be noted as such and any special terms or conditions will be noted as well.

  • All sales with Foam Machines are final. We give 30 day warranty on parts. The machine will be repaired if it is due to the equipment failure. The unit must be shipped back to us at customers expense for us to inspect and make any repairs needed for proper function.
  • We will work to resolve all discrepancies right away.
  • We do not except orders outside the USA.
  • In the event that we would except a check for payment and it is returned the customer will be charged $150.00 administration fee and all costs involved in collection of bad check or any other bad debt. Whether it be attorney fees, courts fees or any fees related to collection will be the customers responsibility to pay. We will prosecute to the fullest that the law will allow.

Sales Taxes

Effectlighting.com collects sales tax for orders placed in Florida or shipped to a Florida address.  Although we don’t typically collect sales tax for orders shipped to other states there are instances in which we will have to charge an additional fee to cover sales taxes imposed on us as a result of your order.  You will be notified of any such charge before finalizing your order with us.  For orders in which no sales taxes are collected by Effectlighting.com, each customer shall be completely and solely responsible for any and all applicable taxes, be it sales or otherwise, levied by any governing body.

Liability

Under no circumstances, including but not limited to negligence, will Effectlighting.com, its ownership, management, employees, or third party associates be held liable for the any type of damages including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, accidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to harm to personal or professional equipment and/or personal injury or death resulting from the use of this site, products sold on this site, or any product sold by Effectlighting.com.  It is your responsibility to read all documentation and register, if applicable, any product you purchase with the manufacturer so that you may be advised by them of any potential problems or dangers possibly resulting from the use of a product.  Under no circumstance will Effectlighting.com be liable for: including but not limited to, the cost of repair, cost of transportation to and/or from repair facility, or any loss or costs arising from the product being inoperable or unusable.

Shipping

  • We reserve the right to choose the freight carrier.
  • All orders will be shipped with freight insurance to cover any damages during transport.
  • Returned or refused items for any reason are subject to full shipping charges and 25% restocking fee.
  • All orders paid by credit card will be shipped to cardholder's name only and to the cardholders billing address unless the alternate shipping address is included with the credit card company.
  • All packages require an adult signature at the time of arrival, no parcel will be delivered without an adult's signature.
  • No COD deliveries except companies with approved credit terms, COD cash, COD company check.
  • Any items marked as "Free ground shipping" is for the lower 48 states in North America. States outside are subject to shipping fees. You will be contacted about any charges before shipping. If you wish for expedited shipping to get it there quicker you will need to contact us via phone or email. Any charges for expedited shipping will be added to total.
  • When going through the checkout if the items weight combined is more than 150lbs shipping charges will show $0.0 because UPS system will not see more than that weight. If this is the case you will be contacted about any shipping cost that will be added to the order.

Typographical Errors

There is a large amount of information contained on our site.  Although we attempt to keep that information current and correct Effectlighting.com reserves the right to refuse any order for any reason including due to incorrect pricing or typographical errors on our site. If you place an order online we will notify you of the incorrect price or typographical error, at which time you can decide to cancel the order or accept a revised order with the corrected price or information.  Although we normally don’t charge a credit card until the order is ready to be shipped, if your card has already been charged we will promptly refund your card if you decide to cancel or refund the original incorrect amount and recharge to proper amount.

Privacy

Personal Information

  • Effect Lighting does not collect personal information with the exclusion of email address, phone number and mailing address for the purpose of the individual order only, or when you register to receive our specials via the mailing list. We respect your privacy and DO NOT sell, give, trade or share your personal information including your email address, mailing address, credit card information, phone numbers or any other personal information

Mail / Email

  • You will never receive unwanted or "Spam" email from us. If you are a member of our mailing list, you can request to be removed at any time. On the top right of this page, enter your email address and check the unsubscribe box and submit the form.

Telephone Calls

  • We do not call our customers unless otherwise requested by the customer or if there is an issue with the order.

Security

  • All our our order transactions are 100% Secure and are transmitted to us via an encrypted connection between you and our company's server. Any personal information you provide to us, is for the purpose of that individual order. We do not sell, trade, share or exchange information with any third parties.
