As most already know the halogen light fixtures are getting harder and harder to find. LED is now lighting the way. The makers are still finding ways to make the LED's brighter and project more patterns instead of just all dots. If you have been watching the past couple years you know what I am saying here. It is actually an exciting time to see all the new technology come together.

in Chauvet
The Chauvet Colordash Batten for the past 3 years this has been our number one selling light. It has 24 - 1w LED's. 8 red, 8 blue and 8 green. Has manual control on the back or you can use a DMX controller. Link them and do a master slave. That means you set the first light and the rest will follow. For event planners this is a must have light.

in UpLighting LED
Want to talk here about Uplighting but first I want to try to paint a picture so you might better understand. Remember when you were a kid and you had a little lamp next to the bed or on the dresser. Had a 25 watt lamp and it gave you enough light to see in the room and do what you needed. Was little hard to read a book with but you could get around. Now lets go to the living room. The lamp next to the couch has a 100 watt lamp. Big difference then in the bedroom. Now put those lights side by side. Look at the pattern going up the wall and on the ceiling the spot pattern.

As the sands of time took away our beloved 8 track tapes, so will be the halogen lights. Take a moment and grieve, its ok. Replacing our beloved halogen lights will be LED.
LED lights last longer, do not overheat and can be used for hours at a time. Gone are the days of breakers tripping, LED's use much less power so the days of plugging in your sound system and a couple of lights and popping the breaker are gone!!
