A lot of you probably already know this but for those who don't, here you go. A duty cycle is becoming an old school term. Today with LED lights it is not a need. Duty cycle was and is needed for DJ lights that use halogen lamps. Most halogen fixtures are recommended 15 minutes on and 15 minutes off. The basic fixtures like a Mushroom or Double Derby halogen unit has the duty cycle.
